Activity Chooser

• With editing turned on you have the option to add an activity or resource.

• The pop-up menu can be split to two drop down menus; one for resources and the other for activities.
  
  On the course home page and with editing turned on, go to the settings block and click "Activity chooser off" (this will turn the activity chooser on) to enable the drop down menus.

• Enabling the Activity Chooser will split the to two drop down menus; one for resources and the other for activites:

Please note that if the activity chooser is enabled then the option to enable or disable the activity chooser in the settings block will diplay as "Activity chooser on".

When first using moodle it might be best to keep the activity chooser off. The reason for this is that the pop-up menu provides a short description of each resource and activity with a link to the relevant moodle.org support page.
