This course supports the CAPE staff development workshop aimed at introducing colleagues to manage multiple cohorts/groups in a My Learning programme or module.
This includes controlling access and participation to My Learning resources/activities according to the following restrictions:

within a cohort (e.g. by seminar group)

with multiple cohorts (e.g. by campus)

with multiple criteria (e.g. campus, part of term, mode of study and release date)
Along with the above examples, access restrictions will be discussed according to teaching and learning requirements. By the end of this course and related workshop colleagues should feel comfortable with creating and managing groups in a non-intrusive and pedagogically sound way.
